Providing Music and Beats:
If you need me to create all of the music for your project or to program a beat for you, I can certainly do that. Please feel free to call or email me for prices & more information. I can provide music for almost any popular genre of music. However just let me say that there is no simple answer for how much a song will cost - some music genres take longer than others, some instruments take longer than others, and of course it depends on whether the song is to be used as a demo or needs to be absolutely radio-ready. In general though, the more complex the arrangement, the higher the price because of the time that it takes to do. So if you need a price for a song, I will first need very detailed and specific information from you regarding what your song requires.
Lastly, if I am creating a song for a client that takes many, many hours - working over the course of a couple of days without the client present, the fee will be discounted from the usual hourly rate and even from the block rate.
All sessions require a 50% deposit at the time of booking. This amount is fully refundable if a session needs to be cancelled, provided that I receive 48 hours notice via phone or email prior to the scheduled session start. (I think that that's called common courtesy!) I usually book sesions 1 - 2 weeks in advance, but it does vary and sometimes I can get you in at a moment’s notice.
Monday through Thursday from 12 noon to 11 pm, and Friday from 12 noon to 6 pm - by appointment only. NOTE: Due to Covid I am not yet back to this schedule - in fact it's a bit all over the place still and changes from week to week!
I accept cash, Mastercard, Visa, Discover & American Express. All balances must be paid in full at the end of each session.
After you book your session, don't forget to check out the recording studio tips page for pointers on how to best prepare for your session. And if this is your first time coming here, you may also want to take a look at the studio directions page (for bus and subway) as well as the driving directions page.
