Train
R, M Train (from Manhattan)
Take the R or M train into Queens, to the “Grand Ave –
Newtown” station, it’s the 9th or 10th stop in Queens
after leaving Manhattan. Exit onto the intersection of Queens Blvd
and Grand Ave (Grand Ave is also called “Broadway” depending
on which side of Queens Blvd you're on). On Grand Ave, near the NW corner of the intersection, there's a bus stop in front of Sunrise Check Cashing and Los Paisitas/Tangra
Masala restaurants, pick up the Q-58 or Q-59 bus here (Be careful not to take a bus which says "Limited" as this is an express bus which will pass your stop). This will be a quick ride. After about 12 blocks, the
bus will cross over the Long Island Expressway, the only time it
crosses over another road. Two blocks after it crosses the L.I.E.,
you'll get off at the corner of Grand Ave and Remsen Place. There's a florist and
a diner on each of the corners on the right side. Remsen Place starts here. The recording studio
is on the 2nd block, right hand side, in the middle of a row of
brick buildings.

from Manhattan, the R or M trains are MUCH faster.

or
Take the L train to Myrtle Ave and switch to the M train.
Then take the M train to the “Fresh Pond Road” station.
As soon as you get to street level, you will see a bus stop for
the Q-58. This is the beginning of the line, so you can only take
it in one direction. (Be careful not to take a bus which says "Limited" as this is an express bus which will pass your stop) The bus will make only ONE TURN after about
15 blocks or so. This will be onto Flushing Ave which very soon
after becomes Grand Ave. 5 blocks after the bus makes this turn
is the stop where you get off. It is the intersection of Grand Ave
and Remsen Place. There's a florist and
a diner on each of the corners on the left side.
