Welcome to Studio Ray! Hi, my name is Ray Balconis, and I am a Billboard-charting producer & vocal coach. My studio is home to major label artists such as Reina, Kim Sozzi, Judy Torres, Jocelyn Enriquez, Mynt,
and Dee Robert, to name just a few. I offer ultra high quality recording, editing, and mastering in a very friendly, relaxed, and creative atmosphere.
I am located in Maspeth, Queens on the Brooklyn/Queens
border 4 miles from Manhattan.
Please visit my testimonials page to see how happy alll of my clients have been with their experience here!
I can provide almost any service that you need to bring your project to completion. Please visit my services page
to learn more about the services I offer.
I have over 20 years of experience in the art of recording, mixing,
and producing. I am also a musician myself with a strong musical
education and years of experience as a performer, So I know how important the music
that you make is to you! I also know how to take a song and produce it so that it has all of the polish, punch, sparkle, and "magic" that it needs to compete with what's on the radio.
I am extremely passionate about what I do and I always give 110% of myself to every project to
insure that it is the best that it can be.
Remember, your studio is only as good as your engineer! Ten
million dollars of equipment can’t make you sound good
if your engineer/producer doesn’t know how to use it
properly. This is by far the biggest complaint that I hear
about other studios from clients. If you are serious about
your music, I can make you sound as good as or better than
anything in your CD collection. One
of the most frequent - and gratifying - compliments that I
get from my clients is that I far outperform other studios
that charged them 3 or 4 times my price.
When you are ready, please feel free
to come by and see the studio in person (by appointment only).
Have a listen to the many artists who've
recorded here, and then let your own ears decide.(You can hear some samples at myspace.com/studioray) A visit will
also allow you to get a feel for the space, and give us a chance
to discuss your project. If you are serious about your music, I recommend ALWAYS visiting
a studio before booking a session. So just email me or
give me a call. I’m happy to hear from you and look
forward to meeting you. |
